Brief Overview
As part of GoSee’s high-stakes rebranding initiative, I led the creation of an SEO Guidebook to ensure a seamless transition to the new brand and website. This 580+ page guide was designed not just as a reference but as an actionable framework that empowered multiple teams, including IT, UX, Product, and Content teams, to align their efforts with Google’s SEO best practices. The guidebook served as a robust framework to navigate Google’s Webmaster Guidelines and other industry best practices, ultimately positioning GoSee for long-term success in organic search.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conceptualized the guidebook’s structure, creating a resource tailored for developers, marketers, and SEO experts, with role-specific summaries and action points.
- Spearheaded research and validation of recommendations, ensuring compliance with Google’s Rater Guidelines and industry standards.
- Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to align SEO objectives with broader rebranding goals, addressing challenges in site architecture, URL structures, and user experience.
- Designed an intuitive Trello-based workflow for managing the project, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery.
